How do I apply payments to my travel reservations... ?

Click Here to complete and submit the applicable payment form from our website!  Or you may email, call, or fax in your credit card or check information to your reservation agent. Please include your reservation/booking number, payment information, and contact information on all correspondences so your request can be routed to your reservation agent. You may also set up "automatic debits" from your checking account our credit card account .  To initiate, simply complete an "Automatic Debit Request" form with your credit card or check information, including the desired debit amount, and select the frequency of the automatic debits.  We will reply with a confirmation email to confirm your request.  In addition, you will receive an email to confirm every subsequent debit, after processing has been completed.

Where can I find detailed information specific to my existing group reservation ?

You may go to the Group Travel information page and select your group to locate information specific to your group.  If you have further questions, you may also email, call, or fax our office.  Please ensure that your "group name", "departure date", and if available, your group reservation number, is included so your request can be routed to your group's reservation agent.

Why aren't credit card payments accepted on your website?

BMD Travel and Tours chooses not to offer on-line credit card processing due to the many security issues involved with electronic payments, in addition to the liability and costs associated with on-line processing.  In addition, by keeping our overhead costs down, we can pass the savings on to you, our VALUED CUSTOMER.

Who are your service charges and agency fees?

Agency Fees:   $0.00 

BMD Travel and Tours travel consultants work on commission - ONLY;  therefore, commission is NOT paid by you, our customer, but rather by our travel partners).  Disclaimer:  BMD Travel and Tours chooses NOT to add additional fees to any travel packages sold.

Cancellation/Change Fee:

Airline Reservations:  $0.00 

All airline ticket changes and cancellation requests must be conducted directly with the airline.  Any fee imposed will be imposed by the airline, not by BMD Travel and Tours.

Cruise Reservations:   

Up to 60 Days prior to travel:  

BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation.  However, a $25 per person fee will be imposed for any cancellation requests up to  60 days prior to the scheduled departure.  

6 to 59 Days prior to travel:    

BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation.  However, a $50 per person fee will be imposed for any cancellation requests between 6 and 44 days prior to the scheduled departure.  All other change and cancellation penalties imposed will be by and at the discretion of the cruise line, based upon travel insurance, if purchased.

1 to 5 Days prior to travel:      $65.00 

BMD Travel and Tours will impose a $25.00 fee for processing all cancelled within 4 days of the scheduled departure, in addition to any charges and penalties imposed by the cruise lines.

Hotel Reservations:  $0.00 Individual / $25.00 Group (per person)

BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a cancellation or change fee for processing individual hotel reservation cancellations. A $25.00 per person fee, however, is imposed, for any cancelled rooms within a "Group" reservation, once deposited; in addition to any charges and penalties imposed by the hotelier.

Car Reservations:     $0.00 

BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a cancellation or change fee for processing car reservation changes or cancellations.

Condominium Reservations:  $0.00 

BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a cancellation or change fee for processing condominium reservation cancellations; however, each reservation is specific to the owning and managing condominium rental company.  Therefore, as per the condo rental agreement, where the required deposit to BMD Travel and Tours is fully-refundable, once payment has been collected and submitted for the property, all refund requests MUST be handled directly with the owning and managing company.

What are your hours of operation ?

Our agency is open to provide you with superior travel services:

 Monday to Friday from 8:00AM - 7:00PM (Central Standard Time)  Saturday's from 9:00AM - 1:00PM.  

We also provide pager support daily (Monday - Sunday), during non-operating hours.  Simply call our office (toll-free: 877-406-8820) and leave a message in the appropriate mailbox for your assigned agent, or leave a message in the general mailbox if you are not working with an agent.  All messages left at our office will be immediately routed to the respective agent's pager.  NOTE: All urgent travel requests, issues, and/or questions will be returned within the hour, at your agent's discretion.  Disclaimer:  Each agent is responsible for their schedule and returning their calls.

When can I expect my travel documents to be delivered?

Travel Documents

All travel documents will be mailed (via either US Mail or Airborne Express) at least 1 week prior to your departure.  Most tour operators (i.e. Funjet Vacations, GoGo Worldwide Vacations, etc) print travel documents approximately 2 weeks prior to travel. The documents are mailed to me for verification and processing, then mailed to you.  If you are concerned about your documents, please email our ticketing department or call your reservation our office to determine delivery status.  

Airline Tickets

All airline tickets, unless purchased with a "vacation package" and otherwise indicated, will be electronic and your itinerary & invoice will be mailed, emailed, or faxed to you after your purchase has been completed.

What is your refund, change, and cancellation policy?

NOTICE:  All check and cash payments/deposits will be refunded in the form of a check from BMD Travel and Tours.  All credit card payments/deposits will be credited to the reserving credit card holder's account.

Airline Reservations:

No refunds 

NOTICE:  All airline ticket changes, cancellation , and refund requests must be made directly to the airline.  Any fee imposed will be imposed by the airline, not by BMD Travel and Tours.

Car Reservations:

Refunds - Not Applicable

NOTICE:  BMD Travel and Tours does not receive any money directly from the customer for payment on individual car reservations (i.e. car reservations that are NOT included in a vacation package);   A credit card MUST be used to reserve the car; however, the credit card is not charged until the car is picked up by the authorized driver.

Changes - We can and will make changes to your existing car reservation, if originally reserved by BMD Travel and Tours, up until pick-up at the car rental company. 
Cancellations - We can and will cancel your existing car reservation, if originally reserved by BMD Travel and Tours, up until your scheduled pick-up time. 

Hotel Reservations:

Refunds - Not Applicable

NOTICE:  BMD Travel and Tours does not receive any money directly from the customer for payment on individual hotel reservations (i.e. hotel reservations that are NOT included in a vacation package);   A credit card MUST be used to reserve the hotel room; however, the credit card is not charged until check-in OR if the reservation holder fails to cancel the hotel reservation prior to the cancellation deadline imposed and enforced by the hotel company (the cancellation deadline will be communicated on your confirmation itinerary).

Changes - We can and will make changes to your existing hotel reservation, if originally reserved by BMD Travel and Tours, up until the cancellation deadline, which is imposed and enforced by the hotel (the cancellation deadline will be communicated on your confirmation itinerary).
Cancellations - We can and will cancel your existing hotel reservation, if originally reserved by BMD Travel and Tours, up until the cancellation deadline, which is imposed and enforced by the hotel company (the cancellation deadline will be communicated on your confirmation itinerary).
Condo Reservations: Policy varies as per partnering company policies.

Refunds - Deposits are fully refundable; however, once final payment has been submitted for the property, BMD Travel and Tours, must conduct all refund requests according to the renting company's change policy, which is outlined in your reservation agreement. 
Changes - We will gladly process any change requests, if originally reserved by BMD Travel and Tours, up until the Final Payment has been submitted to the condominium rental company.  Once final payment has been submitted for the property, BMD Travel and Tours, must conduct all change requests according to the renting company's change policy, which is outlined in your reservation agreement. 
Cancellations - We will gladly process any cancellation requests, if originally reserved by BMD Travel and Tours, up until the Final Payment has been submitted to the condominium rental company.  Once final payment has been submitted for the property, BMD Travel and Tours, must conduct all cancellation requests according to the renting company's change policy, which is outlined in your reservation agreement. 

Cruise Reservations:

Policy varies as per partnering cruise line policies.
Refunds:

Up to 60 Days prior to travel:  100% Refund (minus a $20 per person processing fee, imposed by BMD Travel and Tours)

6 to 59 Days prior to travel:    Refund amount is at the discretion of the cruise line, and is outlined in your cruise invoice/agreement. In addition, a $20 per person processing fee will be imposed by BMD Travel and Tours

0 to 5 Days prior to travel:      Refund amount is at the discretion of the cruise line, and is outlined in your cruise invoice/agreement. In addition, a $25 per person processing fee will be imposed by BMD Travel and Tours

Changes - We will gladly process any change requests, if originally reserved by BMD Travel and Tours, up until the Final Payment has been submitted to the cruise line.  Once final payment has been submitted, BMD Travel and Tours, must conduct all change requests according to the cruise line's change policy, which is outlined in your cruise itinerary document.
