Most
cruise lines will NOT offer complimentary upgrades for group travel.
However, they normally offer reduced upgrade rates for the 1st and 2nd
passengers. The 3rd & 4th passenger rates will remain the
same.
Because
"early booking" and "group booking" discounts have
already been applied to group cruise reservations, the only further discounts will
come from the "Tour Conductor Credits", where your group will normally
receive
one (1) free cruise rate (port charges and taxes are not included), for every 8th
cabin reserved. This additional discount will be accumulated and divided
equally between each cabin within your group, which will ultimately result in
additional discounts for everyone in your group,
Discounted "group booking" rates are reserved for parties with at
least 8 cabins/staterooms reserved for the same sailing.
No. Because your group has already been quoted the "group rate", if
your group happens to fall below the required 8 cabins, your rate will NOT be
affected.
No. If your "group" falls below the required 8 cabins after all
deposit requirements have been satisfied, then your payment
schedule/requirements will not be affected. If your "group"
falls below the required 8 cabins prior to all deposit requirements are
satisfied, then, while your quoted cruise rate will NOT be affected, your group
payment schedule will be affected (i.e. the required full deposit of $200 per person, rather than the $25
- $50 per person group deposit).
No. The cancellation penalties are as follows (if trip cancellation
insurance is not purchased):
$20.00 per person, 60 - 210 days
prior to sailing
$120.00 per person, 30 - 59 days
prior to sailing
50% of Total Price + $25.00 per
person, 5 - 29 days prior to sailing
100% of Total Price (No Refund), 0 -
4 days prior to sailing.
If trip cancellation insurance is purchased, and you
cancel your trip due to
"covered" injury, illness or death affecting the traveler or immediate
family or traveling companions, up to the date of travel, Royal Caribbean
Intl will refund the full amount (100%) to the insured traveler. "No
Shows" forfeit all trip cancellation insurance benefits.
