Dear Valued Customers:

As you may already know, the US Department of Transportation has established the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in an effort to increase safety in our nation’s airports, seaports and other centers of transportation.

The TSA has recently announced all passengers aboard foreign and domestic flights operating in the United States will now be assessed a new security service fee. This fee, known as the "September 11th Security Fee" will generate the funding to provide mandated Federal civil aviation security in all US airports.

In accordance with the TSA, Norwegian Cruise Line will now be assessing this security fee of $8 per person to all existing or new Air/Sea reservations on voyages commencing March 22, 2002 and beyond. This fee will be automatically added to all applicable reservations on Thursday, February 14, 2002.
