NOTICE:You are responsible for contacting your booking agent to CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION. If you DO NOT cancel your reservation prior to the penalty period (seven (7) months or 210 days of scheduled departure), AND you have paid LESS than the per person penalty amount on your account, THEN you will be responsible for paying the outstanding amount due. Please be aware...your group's travel documents will NOT be released by the cruise line until this balance has been satisfied in full. As a result, we strongly encourage all cancellations to be communicated to your booking agent prior to the 210 day deadline. Please consult your agent should you have any questions about our cancellation policies.
INSURANCE: Protect your travel investment. We strongly encourage the purchase of insurance which covers you if you are prevented from traveling due to an injury, sickness or other covered events. Airline and other travel suppliers insurance for baggage have limited liability. Your personal insurance may not adequately cover losses incurred by cancellation, accident, illness or stolen or damaged property. We strongly urge you to purchase additional insurance offered to you. If you have pre-existing conditions, you must purchase your insurance at the time of your deposit.
LOST DOCUMENTS: After you receive your documents, you are responsible if they are lost, stolen, or destroyed. You will have to pay for the replacement cost, express mailing of new documents and a $25 handling fee.
RESPONSIBILITY:This travel agency acts only as agent in all matters connected with the making and securing of reservations for transportation, accommodations, tours, and/or other arrangements for the retail clients of this agency and for various disclosed principles and contractors in the for of airlines, ship lines, tour wholesales, limousine services, and owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation, and/or other services, hereinafter referred to as "suppliers." This travel agency does not own, manage, control, or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel, restaurant, insurance company, tour or sightseeing company or any other service that would fit into the classification of "supplier." As an agent, all related tariffs as well as the terms and conditions specified are by each "supplier." The acceptance of coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the foregoing conditions and also to the further condition that neither this agency nor any of its representatives shall be or become liable or responsible nor liable for defaults of "suppliers" or any other person, company or incorporation not directly under its control.
BMD Travel and Tour’s Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy for Cruises...
Up to 76 Days (2.5 months) prior to travel: BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation. However the $50 NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE per person deposit, will be imposed for any cancellation requests up to 76 days prior to the scheduled departure.
46 to 75 Days prior to travel: BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation. However, a $250 per person fee will be imposed for any cancellation requests between 46 and 75 days prior to the scheduled departure. All other change and cancellation penalties imposed will be by and at the discretion of the cruise line, based upon travel insurance, if purchased.
31 to 45 Days prior to travel: BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation. However, any cancellation requests between 31 and 45 days prior to the scheduled departure will incur a 60% Cancellation Penalty. All other change and cancellation penalties, if applicable, will be imposed by and at the discretion of the cruise line, based upon travel insurance, if purchased (highly recommended).
0 to 30 Days prior to travel: BMD Travel and Tours will impose a $75 fee to process any CHANGE requests to any cruise reservation. However, any booking cancelled within 30 days of the scheduled departure, if the travel cancellation insurance was not purchased, will be penalized at 100% of the cost of the cruise vacation, resulting in "No Refund".
Trip Insurance: If Trip Insurance is purchased, and you need to cancel your cruise reservation for any covered reason, all funds will be refunded except $25 per person and the cost of the insurance. Note: Insurance covers baggage, trip cancellation/interruption* and medical expense coverage for your vacation. Remember, most major medical policies do not provide coverage outside the U.S. ATTN: Reason for cancellation must be a medical condition or other covered cause deemed by the contracted insurance company.
Proof of Citizenship is required to travel.
