Terms & Conditions: NOTICE (Group Reservations): You are responsible for contacting your booking agent to CANCEL YOUR GROUP RESERVATION. If you DO NOT cancel your reservation prior to the penalty period (usually within 75 days of scheduled departure), AND you have paid LESS than the per person penalty amount on your account, THEN you will be responsible for paying the outstanding amount due. Please be aware...your group's travel documents will NOT be released by the cruise line or the tour operator until this balance has been satisfied in full. As a result, we strongly encourage all cancellations to be communicated to your booking agent prior to the 75 day deadline. Please consult your agent should you have any questions about our cancellation policies. INSURANCE: Protest your travel investment. We strongly encourage the purchase of Airline Ticket insurance which covers your “non-refundable” airline tickets and more if you are prevented from traveling due to an injury, sickness or other covered events. .Airline and other travel suppliers insurance for baggage have limited liability. Your personal insurance may not adequately cover losses incurred by cancellation, accident, illness or stolen or damaged property. We strongly urge you to purchase additional insurance offered to you. LOST AIRLINE TICKETS: Lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets must be paid for until refund is obtained from the issuing airline, subject to an airline imposed service charge. PREPAID AIRLINE TICKETS: If your travel agent arrangement involved a request for prepaid airline tickets, picked up by the passenger at an airline ticket counter, please note that most carriers require a mandatory non-refundable service charge. We appreciate your understanding of this charge imposed by the airline and not by our office. RESPONSIBILITY: This travel agency acts only as agent in all matters connected with the making and securing of reservations for transportation, accommodations, tours, and/or other arrangements for the retail clients of this agency and for various disclosed principles and contractors in the for of airlines, ship lines, tour wholesales, limousine services, and owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation, and/or other services, hereinafter referred to as "suppliers." This travel agency does not own, manage, control, or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel, restaurant, insurance company, tour or sightseeing company or any other service that would fir into the classification of "supplier." As an agent, all related tariffs as well as the terms and conditions specified by each "supplier." The acceptance of coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the foregoing conditions and also to the further condition that neither this agency nor any of its representatives shall be or become liable or responsible nor liable for defaults of "suppliers" or any other person, company or incorporation not directly under its control. BMD Travel and Tours' Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy for Airline Tickets... CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS: ***ALL AIRLINE TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERRABLE***. To change or cancel your flight itinerary, call the airline company on which your flight is scheduled, as this agency is not authorized to refund or make changes to airline tickets sold at restricted rates. If you change your plans while traveling, request the issuing airline company to apply the value of your unused ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket. If a refund is due, the airline will be responsible for processing your refund. PLEASE BE ADVISED: There is normally a change/cancellation fee imposed by the airline company of $100 to $150 per ticket, plus the difference between the ticketed fare and the requested itinerary. ANY Refunds, Credits, and Fee Waivers are at the sole discretion of the issuing airline company. BMD Travel and Tours' Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy for Hotel Reservations... CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS: If you are holding guaranteed hotel reservations, you may to cancel by notifying the hotel as soon as possible, no later than 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival to avoid mandatory payment of one (1) night’s stay, including taxes). NOTE: Some hoteliers require 48 hours notification; however, your invoice should contain the appropriate notification requirements. If you wish to CHANGE your reservation, contact your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent and we will gladly make the change for you at no additional charge. If you are holding “pre-paid” hotel reservations, you may cancel or change your hotel reservation by contacting your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent and we will gladly change or cancel your reservation. Please be advised, there is a $25 Change/Cancellation fee imposed by the “pre-paid” suppliers and that charge will be deducted from your refunded amount. BMD Travel and Tours' Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy for Rental Car Reservations... CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS: If you are holding guaranteed car reservations, you may to cancel by notifying either your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent or the rental car company as soon as possible, no later than 24 hours prior to scheduled pick-up to avoid a possible cancellation fee, imposed by the car rental company. If you wish to CHANGE your reservation, contact your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent and we will gladly make the change for you at no additional charge. If you are holding “pre-paid” car rental reservations, you may cancel or change your hotel reservation by contacting your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent and we will gladly change or cancel your reservation. Please be advised, there may be a $25 Change/Cancellation fee imposed by the “pre-paid” suppliers and that charge will be deducted from your refunded amount, if applicable. BMD Travel and Tours' Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy for Ground Transportation (Transfers) Reservations... CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS: If you are holding pre-paid reservations, you may to cancel by notifying your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent, no later than 24 hours prior to scheduled pick-up to avoid a possible cancellation fee, imposed by the our agency. If you wish to CHANGE your reservation, contact your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent and we will gladly make the change for you at no additional charge. BMD Travel and Tours' Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy for Vacation Packages (Individuals & Groups)... CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS: ***ALL AIRLINE TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERRABLE***, unless Vacation Package Protection was purchased. To make changes or cancel your vacation package, contact your BMD Travel and Tours’ reservation agent and we will gladly make the change or process your cancellation for you. PLEASE BE ADVISED: If Trip Cancellation Insurance was NOT purchased, you will be penalized according to the rules of the original cancellation/change policy, outlined in your reservation confirmation documentation. If Trip Cancellation Insurance WAS purchased, and you are due a refund, the tour operator will credited the amount outlined in your original reservation confirmation documentation, minus the cost of the insurance. The remaining funds will be refunded by the insurer, according to the policy purchased, in most cases by the insured filing directly with the insurer ATTENTION: The reason for cancellation must be a medical condition or other specified cause deemed by the contracted insurance provider. BMD Travel and Tours' Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy for Cruises (Individuals & Groups)... Up 76 Days prior to travel: BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation. However, a $25 per person fee, in addition to the NON-REFUNDABLE $25 per person deposit, will be imposed for any cancellation requests up to 76 days prior to the scheduled departure. 46 to 75 Days prior to travel: BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation. However, a $300 ($250 by the cruise line + $50 by BMD Travel and Tours) per person fee will be imposed for any cancellation requests between 46 and 75 days prior to the scheduled departure. All other change and cancellation penalties imposed will be by and at the discretion of the cruise line, based upon travel insurance, if purchased. 31 to 45 Days prior to travel: BMD Travel and Tours will NOT impose a fee to process any change requests to any cruise reservation. However, any cancellation requests between 31 and 45 days prior to the scheduled departure will incur a 60% Cancellation Penalty (50% imposed by the cruise line + 10% by BMD Travel and Tours). 60% of the total cost of your cruise vacation. All other change and cancellation penalties, if applicable, will be imposed by and at the discretion of the cruise line, based upon travel insurance, if purchased (highly recommended). 0 to 30 Days prior to travel: $0.00 - BMD Travel and Tours will impose a $25 fee, in addition to the $35 fee imposed by the cruise line, to process any change requests to any cruise reservation. However, any booking cancelled within 30 days of the scheduled departure, if travel cancellation insurance was not purchased, will be penalized at 100% of the cost of the cruise vacation, resulting in "No Refund". Trip Insurance: If Trip Insurance is purchased, and you need to cancel your cruise reservation, All funds will be refunded except $25 per person and the cost of the insurance. Note: Insurance covers baggage, trip cancellation/interruption* and medical expense coverage for your vacation. Remember, most major medical policies do not provide coverage outside the U.S. ATTN: Reason for cancellation must be a medical condition or other specified cause deemed by the contracted cruise line. Although not required, BMD Travel and Tours strongly urge the purchase of Trip Cancellation Insurance. Contact your agent for detailed pricing, policy information, and coverage options. NOTE: If purchased, you will receive a copy of the Cruise Vacation Protection Plan within 7 days of coverage. Proof of Citizenship is required to travel. o A Passport OR Original copy of Birth Certificate AND government issued pictured ID (State ID or Drivers License) o An Original Marriage Certificate may be required when surname is different from birth record Note: Please ensure you provide the date-of-birth and the legal names that appear on the official documentation.
